AyitiBook is redefining e-commerce across the Caribbean — with trust, inclusivity, and opportunity at its heart.
This defines why Ayitibook exists and what we aim to achieve.
To be the most trusted, inclusive, and efficient e-commerce platform, born from the desire to provide essential goods at a fair price and restore people’s confidence in online purchasing. Our goal is to connect our community to everything they need and love — while helping other businesses grow faster.
To transform commerce across the Caribbean and the world, building a future where every entrepreneur is digitally empowered and where AyitiBook creates structured opportunities for unemployed people to earn and develop essential skills.
We earn your confidence with every click. This means secure transactions and deliveries, transparent policies, and authentic product listings.
We believe in commerce for all. We actively support and onboard sellers of all sizes, from small vendors in local markets to established retailers. We design our platform to ensure accessibility for every user, including the illiterate, so they can purchase reliably online.
We solve the logistics challenge. We’re obsessed with operational excellence to ensure safe, predictable, and on-time delivery — every single time.
The story of AyitiBook began not with a grand business plan, but with a personal need. After finishing school in July 2022, our founder Jean Frantz Desulmé started selling his school books.
The idea for the name AyitiBook came to mind while he was heading to a classmate's house at Siloe, Delmas 75. He combined "Ayiti" (his country name, "Haiti") with "book" (a symbol of knowledge and commerce) to name his new venture. That first year was a true hustle, with all his books sold primarily at Gérald Bataille, Petit Place Cazeau, and Delmas 33.
The pivotal moment arrived on Thursday afternoon, August 5th, 2024. A client’s call for a fan led to a failed delivery — the wrong product was brought. This moment revealed the true challenge: reliable delivery and consistent supply were the keys to unlocking e-commerce in Haiti.
By November 2024, tthe vision was clear: Ayitibook had to be a dependable infrastructure of trust. To achieve this, the founder and Co-founder engaged a specialized development team based in India to engineer a robust, custom e-commerce platform. This system features four integrated portals (Customer, Seller, Delivery, and Affiliate), alongside a crucial integrated secured payment system.
The company behind the AyitiBook platform, Emlomart, was formally registered on May 20th, 2025, solidifying the legal and operational foundation for our platform.
